Solar Project

The energy that comes from the sun in the form of heat and light is called solar energy. Solar energy causes changes in the Earth's climate. The Earth receives 174 petawatts of energy from the sun. About 30% of this energy is reflected, while the remaining energy is absorbed by the atmosphere.

सूर्यापासून उष्णता व प्रकाश या रूपाने येणाऱ्या ऊर्जेला सौर ऊर्जा असे म्हणतात. सौर ऊर्जेमुळे पृथ्वीवरील हवामानात बदल घडतात. सूर्यापासून पृथ्वीला १७४ पेटावॅट ऊर्जा मिळते. यातली सुमारे ३०% ऊर्जा परावर्तित होते तर उरलेली ऊर्जा वातावरणात शोषली जाते.
